Traffic Alert: Work Areas/Street Closures for 01/23/2026

The City of Clarksburg and its utility partners will be performing essential infrastructure upgrades throughout several areas on Friday, January 23, 2026.

Please review the affected locations below and plan accordingly. Work areas are subject to change.

-Hamill Ave closed in sections from 16th-18th Street

-Goff Ave closed in sections from 16th-18th Street

-Alley off of 16th between WV Ave and Williams Ave closed.

-Rodney Ave one lane

-Temple Terrace one lane 

-Euclid Ave and Coolidge Street one lane.  

-Waverly Way one lane from Milford Street to Temple Terrace. 

-West Pike Street One Lane closed from Intersection of West Pike and West Main Streets to Chestnut Street. 

-West Main Street closed from intersection of West Pike/West Main to Chestnut Street, Detour in Place.

-S lane of W Main St starting in intersection of 6th St working East towards 5th ST(6th St )

Gas Work:

-Locust closed from Northcott to Sycamore intersection (Detour up Northcott) 

-S Lane Of W Pike St and Sycamore Intersection 

Abandonment areas below:

(Will only be in these areas long enough to purge oxygen through old line & Backfill holes)

-4th St (Near Centra Bus Garage)

-N Second St off of Hewes

-Locust Ave

-Walnut St

-Hewes (behind library)

-N lane of W Pike St just west of Elk St bridge
