City of Clarksburg Election Announcement (Candidate filing forms available starting Monday, January 12th, 2026)

Interested in running for Mayor, City Council, or the Clarksburg Water Board?
Candidate filing forms for the May 12, 2026 City Election will be available January 12 to 31, 2026.

Certificate of Announcement forms may be picked up at the City Clerk’s Office,
Clarksburg Municipal Building (2nd Floor)
222 W. Main Street

 Filing Deadline:
Certificates of Candidacy must be filed in person between January 15–31, 2026, along with a $50 filing fee.
The Clerk’s Office will be open Saturday, January 31, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

 Also on the May 12th ballot: The continuation of the City’s levy.
