Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) consists of 12 highly motivated officers, who are extensively trained in special weapons and tactics. The SWAT members receive an initial 40 hours of intense training and continue training one day per month making members current on evolving tactics and weaponry. In addition to the needs of the Clarksburg community, the SWAT assists county and federal law enforcement agencies on special needs crime and crises events.
